I purchased my first willow tree – guardian angel after a miscarriage. It gave me comfort
My collection grew from them
My collection started with a gifted figurine from a lovely parent of a child I support to and from school each day to their special school, this lovely mum has gifted a few since then and my family have brought me some as well I have quiet a collection now all because of a kind lady’s gratitude for making their child’s journey all the more pleasurable, and going above and beyond to care for them , the child’s smile says it all , no words just a smile their way of saying thank you cause words can’t be spoken but eye contact a touch a smile the giggles means this child is happy and I am part of their journey however short in this world they find hard to process, I wouldn’t change my job for the world .
When I received my first Willow figure I will be honest it was nice. As time went on new friendships happened I renewed our wedding vows close relations died and these figurines helped me remember the things in my life that really mattered! As they continue to grow and I get older the memories continue and live through Willow
Today I purchased the forget me not figurine in memory of my mother, she passed away in 2023 with dementia. She also collected willow tree figures which I now have, this one will sit with her collection
