We would love to know the story behind your piece…
I gifted my mother 6 figurines over the years that she loved. She has just died at the age of 105 in France and I am bringing back the figurines as a souvenir
I have been gifted Quietly Figurine this weekend on the arrival of my second grandson . Especially significant as he arrived as I completed my treatment for breast cancer & has been my drive to get through 💙
Back in April 2013 my hubby bought me my first willow tree gift “Together” for our 10th wedding anniversary. Every year he bought me a piece for my Birthday, Christmas and wedding anniversary. Last summer in Cirencester he bought me “Around you” just because he saw it in the shop window. For Christmas last year I received the “Nativity”. Sadly hubby died very suddenly in March this year. It was unexpected so all my collection has much more meaning. “Around You” will be more special as it was an impulse buy for me and not for one of the 3 occassions. I will buy “My Guy” at some point in memory of my husband to add as a tribute to him
My Daughter bought me my first piece in 2015,she passed away in 2016(aged 27yrs)and now I collect them in her memory and the legacy she left for me.The whole collection are beautiful just like Abbis soul.
Each one has represented a moment in my life, so they all tell a story. So from having children, losing a child, finding my husband, family in heaven, through to even my animals. have approx 25
pieces now. Would love to see a piece that represents disability. I adore the pieces, and will find myself looking at them daily, and remembering the story behind each one.
